Very interesting! The majority of people I've played it for actually really liked it. Wildfire, Extension, and Too Late got people really into the music until TMTT or TTCOF comes on and they tell me to switch it. I think it appeals to the rebelution/dirty heads crowd, which gets daily playtime in Miami...I think it could have worked for them. I'll never speak of this again due to sounding like a broken (feldy produced) record.
Yeah, Wildfire sometimes gets non-fans I know, but not much. I think everyone likes Too Late, at least mostly. TMTT gets a good reception, TTCOF is too corny for most, lol. I think One and the Same is generally liked, too. And Island Sun, definitely.
I can see Extension not being loved by non-fans. It's a great song, but it's not immediately catchy. Hell - it took me a while to truly appreciate it. I kept hearing about the song for months from people who heard it on the cruise, and when I finally heard it I thought, "That's what they were talking about?"
