60+ million Americans are extremely stupid.
I feel like Bloomberg is a prime example of someone who is getting fucked over by modern day woke, cancel culture, SJW bullshit. And it’s pissing me off because it could very well lead to another fucking Trump term in the White House.
Bloomberg is standing on the debate stage, and he’s one of the only people who is sticking to the format and trying to outline his plans and his credentials. He is apologizing for the criticisms being levied against him and trying to highlight ways in which he has attempted to improve upon those criticisms. Clear and concise.
And then you’ve got fucking Liz Warren being like “I GOT FIRED FOR BEING PREGNANT AND YOU ONCE TOLD A WOMAN TO KILL HER BABY. And then Bloomberg is like “No, that is unequivocally false. That’s a 30 year old accusation and I never actually said it.”
And what part of that exchange do you think sticks in people’s minds? What part of it makes the headlines?
God this country is so fucking frustrating. We are surrounded by idiots. Both on this thread, and in our every day lives.
He didn’t get fucked lol. Clinton had 4 million more votes than Bernie. No amount of DNC propaganda would account for that. What those DNC staffers did was wrong but it didn’t cost him the nomination, that’s bullshit.
The DNC changed rules for Bernie too.
“During the 2016 Democratic nomination fight, Sanders was the runner-up to Hillary Clinton. Yet his forces felt jilted by Democratic National Committee rules, which they contended were rigged in their rival's favor. DNC rules now state that the nomination goes to the person with a majority, not a plurality of delegates. If nobody from a primary field can claim a majority, a nomination fight could in theory be thrown open to others who didn't run that year.”
Something that he’s now against lol
I wish Bloomberg would name his running mate now. That would send the others spinning.
I think it's natural for any reasonable human to be skeptical about Bloomberg. Has he not funded Republicans in the past? Seems a lot like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
What are people’s actual concerns when it comes to this? Do they feel like he’s going to have a conservative agenda in office? I think that’s ridiculous. I have zero doubts in my mind that he would be a left leaning president. He would be very liberal for all social issues, gun control, environment, and when it comes to having to appoint judges. Is there reason to believe that he wouldn’t follow through with these things? He is offering funding to whatever candidate wins the Democratic nod should he not get it.
If that’s your biggest concern then I am relieved.
He’s a lifelong Democrat who switched to the Republican ticket because the N.Y. Dems wouldn’t embrace him on theirs, he tried. I’m sure he sort of regrets not running as an independent, but oh well. Anyway his management style was described as, “He ran the city through a dollars-and-cents management style but when it came to public policy on other issues, he definitely was more to the left. He just wants to get the job done.” A quick review of what his foundations support will show you he’s a huge proponent of social justice and income equality for all.
Main reason the Dems should run away from Bernie.
Bernie’s plan is pretty clear
You’re welcome GD. I know you love memes
Everybody Yang Chung tonight?
I’d love to see Yang as VP, but I doubt he’d roll with Bloomberg.
See how that works asshole?
Honestly, personality clash. They’re so different. Idk just a vibe.. no specific reason.
Coronavirus, ya fuckin retard. Markets down all over the world.
Haha as dumb and insensitive as ever.
His handling of this has been laughable and will certainly get worse.
Nobody is picking Yang as VP.
The coronavirus is a fucking joke. Right on time to scate skittish Americans. I'm still reeling from the effects of ebola. Fuck you media. Trump 2020.
