I like that we all seem to enjoy bass-driven bands.

top 30 is even more difficult.

    what I wrote previously:

    QOTSA
    Pearl Jam
    311
    CAKE
    Weezer

    Adding no order:
Cage The Elephant (would be in top 5 if not for the most recent album)
    Lera Lynn
    Toadies
    OK Go
    Primus
    Led Zep
    Black Sabbath
    RHCP
    SOAD
    Modest Mouse
    K.Flay
Violent Soho***QUICKLY MOVING UP THE RANKS***
    Nirvana
    Metric
    The Beatles
    Arctic Monkeys
    Pixies
    Gorillaz
    AIC
    Muse
    Eminem
    Talking Heads
    The B-52s
    blink-182 up to self-titled
    Sublime
    Coffin Daggers

Terp, Iceman, Sharkey and 1 other person like this.

You have several here that I did not mention that I feel I just as easily could have had on my list as well like Pixies, Gorillaz, and Coffin Daggers.

I like that Band-Maid could easily make your list. That's pretty impressive since you just recently heard of them. Tomato-Kun likes your style

Tomato-Kun coming through with that list dogg. I recognize a number of these from the playlist you sent. Though, I have no idea how Kid N Play is just your honorable mention and not #1 on ALL of our lists. I know they are certainly #1 in our hearts, and that's what really matters.

I feel bad for leaving some bands unlisted. Misato Ono, Yonige, The Wisely Brothers, Regal Lily, PassCode deserve to be mentioned. Nemophila also, they only have 1 ep right now, but if they keep going they're gonna be great.

Also, when the day comes Yui releases her solo work, which I hope is soon. She will either bump someone in my Top 5 or I'll call it a tie with Band-Maid automatically. I mean, it's Yui !

Yeah there were a number of groups that felt "wrong" leaving off, but, decisions must be made in the moment! And yeah, PassCode, you know I got a kick out of them.
