Terrible reason to force him to do that though. So sad

First I had heard of that news. Sounds like taking the time away is for the best. Brutal.

Joss will be directing reshoots and part of the post production. The movie will still feel very much Snyder. If anything the scenes of Joss's will be easy to tell from the movie as a whole. Still excited to see it. Less excited after I saw the trailer with Aquaman jumping from the batmobile and the horrible Come Together cover.

It will fit in with the style of MoS, BvS and WW.

These movies are like the Trump of Hollywood. Critics are ready to pounce already.

I liked MoS personally but get why people hate on it. The Batman vs Superman movie was bad to me for the simple fact that Snyder ruined the original story and made Batman into a whiny bitch. But the WW early reviews are extremely positive unlike the last 3 DCEU movies. I really hope Geoff Johns does to DCEU what Kevin Feige has done for the MCU. If he does I cannot wait for Flashpoint to be done!!!

    Yeah I'm the opposite.

Man of Steel was ambitious and Snyder attempted to forgo the origin story and showed an in depth look at Krypton, while keeping the original lore with Zod, etc. Visually stunning too and I've always enjoyed that. The snap zoom criticism is stupid because even Star Wars had that. Plus the lens flares that other directors have done are more annoying but don't ruin anything.

I don't understand how Batman is anymore of a "whiny bitch" in this version than his original version. His parents and family have all been killed. He's got some real hardened issues and actually kills people. That's fucking sweet and has a purpose.

I'm talking more about his petty complaints towards Superman bitching about "the event" and everything when the original story was Superman seeks Batman out because he recognizes him as the "least corruptible" person on the planet and gives him the remaining Kryptonite to help keep him in check if he ever went bad. Just didn't understand why he chose to recreate such an iconic story line

I actually liked the batman parts of the movie just not the overall arc of the story

It was a first contact story originally, in the MoS. To me it made perfect sense for Batman to fully comprehend the "what if" that are Supermans powers.

Without that we wouldn't have this badass scene.

Didn't think it would get any love on this board but Wonder Woman is really good.

Marvel is my first love but I am very happy to see both critics and the general public gushing over this movie. Good for the Distinguished Competition. They make money on their films but to have a financial and critical success with the first female led superhero (fuck catwoman) can only mean good things for both D.C. and Marvel. I hope to be able to see it this Thursday.

Wonder Woman was phenomenal. Geoff Johns first movie with DCEU and it's a home run. I hope he continues that trend with JL and on out from there

Joss Whedon doing the final edits on JL is huge too.

I've loved every movie DC has released since MoS so I'm easy at this point.

Just watched Suicide Squad for the first time (extended cut). Wasn't as bad as the reviews but definitely felt like something was missing.

Star of the film was Margot Robbie's shorts.
