I did that too. Anyone who has been around here a while knows the story. We are 2 of the most well known "BBers". And we will always be good friends. But it didn't work out. You know who you are.
Most of my relationships have been LDR’s. I don’t recommend them but they were necessary given the circumstances. Ended up having a transcontinental one which was wild but like you, stuck to it, made sacrifices and no ragrets all things considered. You just have to rise to the occasion and if it’s something you know you want, and feel is right, fucking go for it.
The circumstances suck more than usual right now. How do you get out of this? I didn't plan this. Right before everything went nuts I was planning to get out and date humans in person.
I dont recommend them either lol. It was hard for a while, it actually speed up the "ok what is this and what are we doing?" talks. The feel was right Lined up my best intentions I gave it half a chance Now no one else I mention Is even worth a second glance
I remember there was a bb'er named Kevin(?) who was in like a 7 year LDR? And they didn't make it and I was sad.
Kevie? Or something. He was Canadian. He grew up and moved into the wilderness as a lumberjack and stereotyped people from Canada.
I remember that. He went off the grid. Who knows where he is now. He was on the bb in 1999 and he was about 13.
I’d slash my wrists if it was still going on long distance during a pandemic. Fucking travel and countries restricting entering…I want it to end.
