Man I really appreciate that, that's like my favorite compliment I've ever received about any of my music.

I've always been a big fan of "Land Down Under". Ever heard the band B Foundation's version of it? It's pretty fuckin sweet. But anyway, nice work on yours. I don't think there's anything wrong with your vocal ability, but I would say that the mixing for your vocals is a bit too muddy or distorted. It seems your guitar track, which sounds nice, is competing for the same space as the vocals, like perhaps boosting some of the high end of the vocals would help. Again though, that's just messing with knobs and shit, the ability is there though!

Here's my newest instrumental called "Limbo Of The Lost". My wife is an artist and she did a Bermuda Triangle inspired series and wanted music for a promo video. I made a 30 second cut but never put out this full instrumental until now:

I just remastered my wife and I's first annual Halloween track from 2015 called "Ghosts & Ghouls" and put it up for free download HERE. Basically, since 2015 I've accumulated more knowledge and actual studio monitor speakers and was listening to it and thinking damn I could definitely make this sound better. So I did a lot of fine tuning and even cut out a track or 2 that did nothing but crowd up the mix, which all amounted to a much better sound. Still not perfect, but I'm happy with how it came out in terms of improvement and amount of time spent.

Check out my wife and I's new Halloween single "Veronica Bordedalia". I put it up for free download on Soundcloud yesterday and uploaded it to Youtube a little bit ago today. We got real weird with it.

You guys really need to be writing short or long films along with your music, possibly something animated.

Dude we talk about that all the time. My wife and I both have full time jobs and her 2nd full time job is her art studio which she just re-branded to go more with the horror/"unexplained" theme and I make soundtrack music. So a great way for us to sort of advertise the both of us would be to make a song and then a fucking sweet video/short film for it where she also makes the props, does the makeup and stuff. Then we'd have friends be cast members and we'd likely film it out near my house which is a rural area with some cool places. We already have some ideas flowing for what we'd do for next year's song so if we get the time, we'll do the song earlier in the year and try to get a video in place by Halloween. Animated of course would be amazing too.

That's awesome man, killer riffs. The recording sounds great too. I'd say you should give a real name to the track as opposed to "Multi-Instrumental Demo #1". The video already shows that it's just you doing it all.

Kick ass, Kevin. Wish you were still in Nashville. Are you still in VA? Love the track. I've done lots with music since we've last spoke. Still talk to Sam! Hope you are well.

Hey Chris! Yep, I'm still in VA. Teaching music and playing in a cover band, so I'm still living the dream sort of. How's it going out there in Nashville?

Nice job, sounds good. I don't give a fuck how many times 311 plays this, this is a fun song both to hear and to play. P-Nut with that verse bass line is the shit.

Fuckin' Ross. What a tool. I watched Friends back when it was on and I was like 14 years old. Hadn't really fucked with it since. I now work at home and usually I put on the TV during my lunch break and Friends is always on at that point. I've found myself watching it a bit. It's...really fucking stupid. Like stupider than I realized in the 90's. And yet I've watched several episodes lately. I don't get it. But Ross is like such a tool it's insane. And they all enable him.

You derailed our post about our own music that we work so hard on. haha, hard on.

I'm trying to up my "professional" game and have started up a Fiverr page and a real website to get more work in soundtracks. On Fiverr you can upload a 75 second video so I went ahead and made a little sampler for the promo.
