My 81 year old grandfather got his second dose this past Saturday. He did not have any symptoms and he went for a 3 mile walk on Sunday.
Fuck is going on in Utah? More and more I am seeing people I know on social media showcasing themselves as though life is back to normal. Having social events at their home, birthday parties, going to jazzercise classes packed with people, going out to dinner literally every evening. Here I am holed up every day at home besides my walks around the city a few days a week so I don’t atrophy. It’s madness.
No idea. The numbers have dropped here significantly in the past few weeks, so maybe that's giving people a false sense of safety to resume those things. (I think a lot of that never stopped here anyway, and the current numbers are still 40% higher than last summer's highs.) But I am mostly detached from what other people are doing. I've been working from home since March. Literally the only things I do in public are ski and go to the grocery store.

Checked this morning and Kroger had an available appointment for Covid vaccine today. Hopefully they don’t reject me. They keep changing the wording for qualifying pre-existing conditions. First it was if you were hospitalized within the last year, now it’s regular specialized care, which I have to go to a cardiologist once a year. So.... wish me luck!
I'm glad that there are only like 8 people who live in Wyoming because people in Cheyenne just don't give a fuck. Thank goodness my gf and her mom got their 2nd vaccines. Red states lolz
