Rogan has gone down hill the last few years... it used to be awesome. Now he just acts like he’s not a Republican twat, yet he really is.
Rogan is such a libertarian shittard. To act like you’re a superior intellect, because you kept your head above the noise on Trump, is patronizing and reeks of it’s own narcissism.
That's fine I suppose. I skipped on listening to his podcast for years until maybe 2 years ago at most and I just listen to them based on who the guest is and I skip plenty. I can see why his personality rubs people the wrong way, but aside from a few small things here and there I've never really took any issue. Mostly I just really enjoy the format of having these long form conversations and getting to know guests that I'm interested in a lot more than I would in most other formats I've ever seen/heard them in. As for the guests themselves, they seem to either already be friends with Rogan or they're there as a career move. I mean he gets millions of listeners and other guests have commented on how much their profile was elevated after their appearance. I get it.
In all seriousness, our 10 year goal is to buy a home with a large lot and a guest house and hook ups. We will live in the house until we retire and sons can have guest house. Then, when we retire in 20-25 years - they get main and we will buy an RV. travel and also use guest house. We are looking at TX for affordability.
I liked watching/ listening vs only listening to JRE... but the new studio set up is so fucking atrocious, I just cannot stand it.
Exactly why Joe Rogan is such a fuck head now... this is regarding him and the covid vaccine. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMeRkLNCe/
I think I've heard him mention his current set up is temporary. I only listen to it so I don't really care what it looks like. Yeah that's douchey. On one hand, I have heard him talk about how we're lacking in educating our people about keeping themselves healthy and vitamins and shit that help to maintain overall wellness for when you do get a virus it's easier to overcome. So, I'm thinking he's stuck in that mindset and went too far with it for this comment.
Agreed. Also not wise for anyone to lose it over an edited single sentence. Prefer to listen to his entire train of thought first then judge cause we know he’s not an idiot.
We do? I don’t celebrate the guy’s entire catalog like some others. Nothing I’ve seen has ever indicated to me that he’s anything other than a smarmy, pseudo-intellectual contrarian.
I don’t agree with everything he says as it’s not a requirement for me to respect someone but he’s very rational and generally open minded so I don’t think he’s an idiot. It’s cool if you disagree, I don’t think you’re an idiot either.
In my opinion, Rogan is a terrible, terrible comedian. He just happens to have really cool comedian friends. That’s why I started listening to his podcast.
I wouldn't go as far as to call him a "terrible" comedian, but I'm also definitely not very into his standup. I've watched a couple of his specials and did laugh at some stuff, but he's nowhere near the level as many of his friends. But either way, like I said before, I don't listen to his podcast to listen to him. I choose the episodes I listen to based on the guests and am typically very entertained by the longform unedited conversations you would not get out of these people in other things they appear in. Like I even listened to Post Malone's appearance. I normally don't care about Post Malone AT ALL but they took shrooms and talked for 3 hours and I enjoyed that shit. I don't agree with everything Rogan says, but there's also plenty that I do.
