Haha I read this thinking you were responding to this... and for a split second blonde moment, as I read, I thought “there’s a workaholics novel?”
@jukeboxgroove if you’re still in a space mood, you’ll love it. It’s on amazon. Trailer does no justice, couldn’t recommend it more. Edit: This show is a serious long build. Season 1 gets the whole universe built, how the politics work, where the tech level is etc. The series takes a jolt into space towards the end of season 1 and straight up from there.
History channel, but the series "the food that built America". Really enjoying the dive into Americana via food. Definitely recommend
I'm more than a little behind on this but I have lost more than a little sleep lately staying up to watch The Sinner because I wanted to know why the hell Cora did what she did ... oh and waiting for Matt Bomer to show up
I really want them to do a show just on the Cecil. I got bored with the story (mostly I hated the Web sleuths) and wish they had spent more time diving into the hotel’s backstory and menagerie of guests. I’d enjoy an episode on the Night Stalker, another on a famous pimp, etc.
Ya it kind of fizzled out and became bloated. Sensationalism of a tragix mental health incident. And its bullshit that death metal guy, Morbid, had his life ruined by those sleuths.
He just got in a terrible one car crash, apparently in surgery now. Injuries are moderate to critical.
How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) On Netflix. Very good and entertaining. Two short, 6 episode, seasons at 30 minutes per episode. Makes for a quick binge!
Watching Long Way Round on ATV+ Watched the more recent series, Long Way Up and loved it and so wanted to see the other two. This first one man…fucks sake they really traversed over the shittiest roads in Europe. Anyone else watch these travel docs?
Snowfall restarted this week with 2 new episodes. Love the show, but they are making Franklin such an idiot after all of the "smart" things he did in previous seasons. Was really hoping the passing of John Singleton wouldn't effect it, but so far it shows. I'll wait out the season and see.
Went down a Ryan Gosling rabbit hole for no reason whatsoever last night. Blade Runner: 2049 was fantastic. I had seen it before but on a pirate version. All Good Things...anyone seen this? It was surprisingly good too. Felt like a couple different movies, in one, but in a good way.
Randomly saw there was a Castlevania show on Netflix. Why was I not aware of this!? My wife and I have watched the first 2 over the last couple of nights and we are both loving this shit.
