saw sonic. can't really say anything particularly negative about it. Jim carrey looked like he was having a lot of fun. good kids movie - probably the best "video game" movie I've seen, not that the bar was ever set high

Doom, Warcraft and Mortal Kombat were some other good video game movies.

Agreed. Wouldn't run out the door and tell people to see it but if you like Sonic or Jim Carrey, give it a go. I saw it in what was an empty theater before two 3-400 pound dudes sat down and laughed their asses off. As far as a laughing audience goes, I'll always appreciate their gusto.

I like OG Jumanji too. Even the new ones are pretty funny, at least.

Just saw The Invisible Man. It was pretty good, not great. Not scary but plenty suspenseful. A couple twists I saw coming but some things had me guessing. The score stood out too

Legit did not know if you were talking about the original or if some new bullshit came out. Google search, it is the latter. Have you at least seen the OG?

I watched Game Night last night. Was a solid movie and a good break from horror movies for a weekend.

It ended up being pretty much what I expected. I didn't think it was going to be super hilarious or anything, but I did think it'd be a fun enjoyable movie and worth the slightly over 1.5 hr running time. That's pretty much what it was.
