Just wanna say. I'm NEVER EVER going to see 311 at a beach concert EVER AGAIN!

FUCK YOU 311 and your STUPID GREATEST HITS!

"Burn me once, shame on me. Burn me again...shame on me..."

"It's one thing to make the same mistake twice. It's another, to make it all of your life"

    ...ok, end of confession.

If it's my favorite band and it's a big city, I would never, ever go to a festival unless there were a minimum of 3-5 other acts I was into.

I grew up with some HUGE festivals near me (HFStival) and learned that the better talent was usually the side stages. (Full disclaimer I saw 311 play HFStival '99 after soundsystem and twas my first 311 show- looking back the set was ooookay http://setlist.com/311/1999/9.25.99.html ONLY 11 songs).

God that set list would have rocked to see! Even with "Good Feeling" added. I am literally not a fan of 311 just because there has not been 1 mother fucking concert where "Amber & Love Song" were not performed...

OMG Limp by far rocked the show!!! It was my first time finally getting to see them. They are so fresh, and spot on with their music. I really wish they were the headliner for the Weenie Roast, but Fred announced their beef with KROQ and degraded KROQ to the crowd, which was awesome. But Fred Durst went on to talk about his history with 311 and how before Limp was conceived, it was 311's "Music" album that got it all started and inspired Fred to pursue the rap rock genre. As a possibility and a path for Limp and others to bring Rap Rock to the table.
