That is an excellent point. We are pretty lucky to have access to decent snow even on dry years. The Cottonwood Canyon resorts always seem to have quite a bit more snow than the ones closest to me. Regardless, a day at the slopes beats work no matter what the conditions. Glad to hear you have been able to get out and enjoy yourself.
Last years fire season was terrible and I almost had to evacuate ....and we had normal snow last year, this year is dry as fuck Doing my snowdance right now...looks like a chance on Saturday
I always love this guy's videos. Dude has serious talent. You should check out the series called "one of those days".
We hold the winter X games here, I went to that like 10+ years ago but have no interest anymore and this year they are still doing it but no audiences allowed.....thankful for that I don't need more people here right now.
Yeah, I've seen those "one of those days" videos. They are awesome! Also, the Audi commercials where he skis on dry land (and water in the second one)...
The Sierra just got dumped on with 5+ feet of snow with another day to go. Thats good for me and fishing season
I have spent the last few days at a friend's cabin at Eagle Point ski resort in Southern Utah. As bad as the snow has been this year, the weather accommodated our ski trip perfectly with some great powder.
20 inches of fresh powder (if you knew where to look, since most of it fell yesterday while the ski areas were open). Best ski day of the year for me today.
I am finally good enough that I can enjoy all the powder! Took until now to feel like real skiing this season Going to hitup Aspen in a week or two for my Bday
I’m Utah bound on Friday! I posted awhile back about considering Jackson Hole (I really wanted to snowshoe Grand Teton). After a bit of research I decided I’m not a strong enough skier justify the trip, so we booked a few days in Park City.
