I got a Helinox Chair Zero coming in the mail, looks like a nice chair for only a pound that I can take with, oh man that will be great.
We go on hikes at Horsetooth Reservoir fairly often, but not so much this year. Everyone hikes in Colorado. Colorado fucks.

I'll follow suit with Skiing311. Though I will respectfully disagree about Mt. Olympus. The payoff at the top of that peak has amazing views, but the incline is awful (almost a mile of elevation gain in a 3.5 mile hike with very little shade). Last time I hiked it my wife and came across a guy had passed out and died on the trail. You guys have been to some beautiful places. I've hiked all along the north shore where there are lots of fun little waterfalls and natural terrain to fuck about in. Nothing totally amazing up there, but you can fill an entire week checking out all the cool spots.
That's why I like it. It's difficult! And that class 3ish scramble near the top is about as "extreme" as I get (i.e., NOT extreme). I pretty much only ever climb it in the fall because of how hot and exposed most of that trail is. Whoa. Was he being worked on by paramedics when you saw him, or were you the ones that found him dead? Either way, that is horrible. I've been up to Scout's Lookout in Zion, but I don't think I could ever do that last stretch to Angel's Landing. That kind of exposure just looks terrifying to me. It's definitely not in my DNA. I need to add these to my list. Also The Narrows from the top-down. (Although I have gone from the bottom-up to the Wall Street section.)

I made the mistake of hiking Olympus on a hot August day. My wife and I both had full camelbaks and both ran out of water. It didn't help that some douchebag guy brought his black great dane and didn't have water for it. The poor dog was just laying in the shade and wouldn't move. My wife gave it half of her water. At the top of the mountain and we saw a helicopter that was trying to lower some equipment a short distance below the saddle that is before the last scramble, they gave up pretty quickly, because the terrain was too steep. We made our way down to the spot the helicopter had been and a couple of guys were with the body. One had been doing CPR for a long time. At that point, they were staying with the body until the paramedics got there. It was a really sobering scene, but there was really nothing we could do at that point, so we continued down. We passed the paramedics who were hiking up with a stretcher. It was not a great day overall which is probably why it left a bad taste in my mouth. As far as Angels landing goes, I get vertigo every time I do it, but honestly I think the saddle of Timp is sketchier. Especially if there is still snow on Timp. Angels Landing has chains that you can hold on to near any of the big drop off points. If you get a chance to do the Subway, I recommend it for sure. Just do it after spring and early summer unless you don't mind swimming quite a bit in cold water. Backcountry permits are hit and miss online (mostly miss due to popularity). They give half the permits through online reservation and half are distributed day of. I just camped in Zion, got up at 3 am the day of and waited at the permit office until they opened.
I heard that full moon hikes were all the rage, so I took a youth group on a midnight hike to Delicate. It was awesome because it was nice and cool outside and the rangers don't collect fees at the gate after a certain time of night. The only problem is we couldn't see the rock cairns that marked the trail so we ended up in the wrong spot. I didn't have a GPS, but one of the kids was playing Pokemon Go on their phone which happened to have Delicate Arch as a stop, so we used it to navigate the rest of the way. I was able to get a pretty good moon burst shot:
