Starting with a little morning workout watching the sunrise. Drinking a protein shake and eat some breakfast.... then off to ski

I did 30 minutes and almost died. Heart monitor called it very light exercise and I feel judged.

Honestly I’ve never been the same since hiking that mountain last summer. I have severe spine problems as well as joint issues. I’m basically an 82 year old trapped in a 32 year old body. A lot of it is hereditary and a lot has to do with being 6’4” I think. But anytime I walk longer than 6 miles my hips start to ache like a storm is a brewin’

Also, the steps to our flat has broken tiles and one day about a month or so ago I stepped on one of them and slipped sending me tumbling down the stairs. I twisted both my knees and landed on my ankles wrong. A miracle I didn’t break or sprain anything.

But ever since that my knees and ankles haven’t been the same and if I put too much weight on them or step wrong it sends a shooting pain through my knee. Fuck I love getting old.

I miss the days of running 5 miles a day, not feeling like utter shit all the time and not a care in the world physically. :(

Sounds like a crush nerve. I've had that a couple times since breaking my ankle in 2018.

Also, my girls and a spine injury in 2002 make me in a similar boat.

Tried running in early 2018, then broke my ankle.

That's why I got the rower. Back injury is a concern, but I bought a brace and will take it super slow.

I’ve lost count how many procedures I’ve had to burn the nerves off in my neck and spine. It causes vomit inducing migraines that I have to take seizure medicine for every morning and night to function properly. Sometimes even that doesn’t completely stop it.

This lockdown causing furlough and making me home bound has been a blessing and a curse. Doing too much at the workplace makes me seize up after so long. Fortunately the type of work I do keeps me from not being confined to a desk or standing in one place all day.

Beat World 2 in one try. (World 1 took three)

Tested each muscle group spine got a F. So, work needed there.

FYI... one of the Hydrow trainers is a big 311 fan. Uses their songs in rows.

    Workout 12 today.

I am at 45 minutes to hour of workout time. I have increased level of difficulty up a few times. My goal is to be at full difficulty by April. (At about 20% capacity ATM)

    Middle of Week Three.

I have to say - I adore Ring Fit Adventure. I can't recommend enough. As someone who despises working out - like LOATH ENTIRELY - This game is a great mix of cardio, strength, and yoga all bundled into a pretty fun game.

I also believe my Hydrow will be delivered on 3/11... I was going to switch to solely this - but I love the game enough I plan to do both.
