That's fascinating. May I ask how tall you are? I'm 5'6 and nothing under 30 inches will fit me. I'm pretty skinny...
Im 5'10" 120lbs, I eat a ton and lift and workout a bunch, but im still the same size when I dont, have some muscles now like abs but I need mass
You must not drink beer, or take anti-depressants. Or do both at the same time, while eating tons of donuts. Like I used to.
We have completely opposite issues lol. I have to workout as hard as I do, just to maintain. If I’m not working out like a maniac, I get fat. Which is exactly where I’m at now since my injury. Anyway, creatine is fine. But it won’t be the answer to your problems. Have you had your test levels checked?
Hey do you guys know any effective ways to work out biceps and/or shoulders without weights? I've started doing that thing where you stick your arms out to the sides and rotate them in circles, or whatever, but I feel like that's doing as much harm as it is doing good. My shoulders keep popping and crunching. I am up to 120 pushups a day, and it's easy to do them in 4 sets of 30 now. At this rate I'll be at 200+ sometime in the next week or two.
Chloe Ting! My wife just finished her 14 day challenge. I do the videos with her on days when I don't run, specifically that ab video. It's a good workout. Pam Reif's stuff is good, too:
I did 200 pushups yesterday after work, did a few sets of 20 for those so some improvement. Tomorrow I hike for my day off
Just started hitting the gym regularly and it feels pretty damn good. Dropped 20 pounds over the last year just trying to avoid eating like total shit. At 215 now and trying to get to 195 by the end of the year. But, man...I am fucking out of shape. I’m turning 37 in September and I’m determined to go into my 40’s in better shape than ever. I’ve been focusing mostly on cardio and a little weight training mixed in. I can’t fucking do pushups for the life of me
Yeah push-ups will work chest, shoulders, triceps. They’re great, but high volume won’t help with mass. 5x5 is an extremely simple and effective program for gaining noticeable strength.
