I loved watching ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. Morgan's views became stubbornly old school near the end of his tenure at ESPN, and he had to go, but he and Miller were a great broadcast pairing.

Also, of course, he was probably the best second baseman, ever.

The Braves are Bravesing in the Postseason again. Gave up 11 in the first (10 in the 1st inning of game 5 of the NLDS last year). It's 15-0 and they're not even through three innings yet.

Good for the Dodgers that they didn’t burn Kershaw on that game. (Not good that he has been getting scratched for back spasms, but still…)

Also torn. Betts is probably my favorite current ballplayer, and I think the Dodgers are due. But I also have a strong personal connection to the Braves.

Ya, it could be a silver lining if he can pitch and give us a chance to win. I hope he gets a chance.

Man, after watching Mookie on a nightly basis this season, he has quickly become my favorite Dodger. He does it all and is a pro's pro. Watching him play is electric. There was a game earlier this year when he was on second and scored on a single. Basic enough. But they showed his secondary lead, his reaction, his perfect mechanics rounding 3rd. It was incredible. That secondary lead alone gave him the chance to score. So glad the Dodgers went all in on him over all the others they fished for before.

I go with calling him Betts, since as awesome as he is, there's only one Mookie allowed in my baseball vocabulary.

My brother is a hardcore Yankee fan and I'm a Mets fan, unfortunately. But when Betts was on Boston, my brother had to admit that Betts was fun AF. Certain players just transcend rivalries. NY has the doofy duo of Judge and Alonso, Betts, and if anyone cared about The Angels enough to hate them - Trout.
