I was actually watching that Reds game live. I heard it. At first, I wasn't sure if he actually said it. I was watching on MLB.tv, so I went back and listened again. I wasn't sure what else it could've been. I went on Twitter right after to see if anyone else had heard it. I didn't see tweets about it, so I figured my ears had deceived me. Guess not!

I had this tweet read on air verbatim by the host of my favorite sports radio show during rush hour traffic on a Friday 2 weeks ago. Several thousand people in the Columbus area were put on high alert for Thom's shit and boy did he deliver some bullshit. Good riddance.

And Nick Castellanos hitting a home run while Thom was trying to give his on-screen apology and Thom was compelled to pause the apology to call the play. So uncomfortably priceless.

Very familiar with Thom from his time as a Cubs broadcaster. He sucks. He just cares that he got caught.

Sonny Gray is a baller pitcher for the Reds, working with Trevor Bauer to increase spin rates and make his good stuff near perfection. It really rips the nipples off my chest to watch Raisel Iglesias come into the bottom of the 9th last night and give away what should have been a 4-2 Sonny win. I said it last year but Iglesias is a bumb and the Reds could and can do better. They have a (sometimes) solid bullpen that could thrive on consistency. Really chaps my asshole, to put it lightly.

Dodgers on pace for 44 wins at the halfway mark

Trade deadline coming up. First time in a long time that they don't really need anything.

Once again though, curbing my enthusiasm since it only matters what they do in October

Dodgers wasted a good start from Kershaw. Padres are on their way to an eighth straight win.

Edit: Muncy got played so badly by Profar (the runner at third) in the 7th after that ground ball. Got no outs and let the run score. (Not to mention his subsequent throwing error.)

Ya suddenly only 1.5 gm lead in the division. SD is playing really well. Muncy totally botched that play and the screwed up again. Over after that.

    Just dont get swept Dodgers...

The Yankees just hit five HRs in one inning against the Blue Jays tonight, and they have hit 18 HRs in this three-game series (so far), a MLB record. Fucking hell.

My Reds are breathing in a chance of playoffs (first time since 2013), winning 6 in a row and getting back to .500. Current odds to make the playoffs are 61.7% according to ESPN and my nips are blistering from the hardness. Let it come together.

Dude, I'm not going to jinx it and look for a number. The Reds are facing the highest winning percentage opponents for this last stretch in the entire National League (maybe it was all of baseball).

The Blue Jays have lost five in a row and look utterly helpless out there. Yet their magic number has gone down because Detroit, Seattle, and Baltimore also keep losing.

I am very much against expanding the postseason in normal seasons.

Same. Cheapens the regular season. People love an underdog, but we all want to see the best teams in the end. And 8 seed upsetting a 1 in a 3 gm series is exciting at first, but makes the on field product worse going forward
